Drew Minard and Mitchell Tobin are the new stars of 'Billy Elliot' on tour.

Mrs. Wilkinson’s ballet class just gained two new students. Drew Minard and Mitchell Tobin have assumed the title role in the national tour of Billy Elliot. The actors will alternate performances as Billy and will become the 12th and 13th actors to perform the part in the national tour. The musical is currently playing Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre through December 30 and will visit Costa Mesa, Jacksonville and Kansas City in 2013.

Minard, 12, is an Iowa native who began dancing at age 3. He won the 2012 Hope Award in New York during the Youth America Grand Prix.

Tobin, 12, is also making his professional theater debut. The Boca Raton, Florida native began dancing when he was 3-years-old and has won several national dance competition titles.

Minard and Tobin will alternate the role of Billy with current cast members Ben Cook and Noah Parets. Other members of the cast include Rich Hebert as Dad, Janet Dickinson as Mrs. Wilkinson, Cullen R. Titmas as Tony and Patti Perkins as Grandma.

Billy Elliot tells the story of one boy's journey to make his dreams come true. Set in a small British mining town, the plot follows Billy as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class, discovering a surprising passion that inspires his family and his whole community. Based on the Academy Award-nominated film, Billy Elliot 'sTony-winning creative team includes director Stephen Daldry, choreographer Peter Darling and writer Lee Hall. Music legend Elton John composed the film's score.
