Mary Poppins will be flying into Vancouver from July 17 through July 22, displaying the elaborate London house of the Banks Family and other magical scenes. In this video, producer Cameron Mackintosh and stage managers from numerous Mary Poppins productions reveal how the sets of the show's magical world were made. Among the amazing facts reavealed is just how big the Banks’ home is, weighing in at five tons! Bob Crowley, who won a Tony Award for his set design, explains how he recreated the Banks’ house for the national tour “without compromising its scale and grandeur” from the Broadway production.
